The 2025 Migz Wildlife Calendar is so much more than just a calendar – it’s a glimpse into Migara’s  world and the moments he treasures most.

Migara Wijesinghe, a hobbyist photographer who has been travelling to Sri Lanka’s  national parks for nearly 10 years now.

Migara Wijesinghe is a hobbyist wildlife photographer with a passion for capturing the raw beauty  of nature. Over the years, he has travelled across the globe documenting wildlife in its most  authentic form. With a patient eye and a profound respect for the natural world, Migara’s work  tells the stories of the wild, one moment at a time. His photography is not just about capturing the  perfect shot but cherishing each sighting and experience in its purest form.

“As someone who spends countless hours in the wild, I’ve learned that nature doesn’t always give  you what you expect. You’re not always blessed with a sighting, and even when you are, the  circumstances may not allow for the perfect shot. Over time, I’ve come to treasure every sighting,  regardless of the photographic outcome,” he shares.

A collection of a few of Migara’s photographs from Sri Lanka and around the world

Each image in this calendar represents those treasured moments – the patience, the connection,  and the respect he holds for the natural world. From Sri Lanka’s jungles to the open savannahs  of Kenya, every photo is a story, and every month offers something new to discover, with a little  humour thrown in to brighten your day.

What makes this calendar even more impactful is its contribution to conservation. Rs. 500 from  every calendar sold goes to the Federation of Environmental Organizations (FEO) Sri Lanka.  These funds will support critical work in removing invasive plant species from national parks like  Wasgamuwa, Lunugamwehera, Minneriya, Horton Plains, and Kumana, helping to preserve the  very habitats that inspired this collection.

With every calendar purchased, you’re not just bringing the beauty of nature into your life – you’re  playing a role in protecting it.
