In celebration of World Kindness Day, Snehadhana Foundation, the CSR arm of Aberdeen Holdings, hosted the ‘Hearts of Happiness’ event on November 26, 2024, bringing joy and inspiration to children from Sri Lankadara Sigithi Child Development Center and Sri Sangamitta Child Development Center. Held at a vibrant venue in Thalawathugoda, the event created a space of laughter and belonging for these young hearts.
The event centered around “Charity with Love,” a core value of Snehadhana Foundation, which emphasizes care and compassion through meaningful acts. Beyond the fun-filled activities like drawing, dancing, and movie time, each child received nutritional packs, school bags, and essential supplies. This focus on nourishment reflects the foundation’s mission to address not only immediate needs but also to empower communities by fostering dignity, hope, and wellbeing.
‘Hearts of Happiness’ reinforced the foundation’s vision of creating lasting impacts by going beyond material support to enrich lives through thoughtful gestures and genuine care.
