DFCC Bank, the Bank for Everyone, proudly furthered its partnership with Doc990, a digital health solution powered by Dialog Axiata PLC, with a series of medical camps for women. The inaugural Aloka Medical Camp was held on the 16th of August from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at DFCC Bank’s Anuradhapura branch and marked the beginning of a new era in women’s health and well-being with DFCC Aloka.
A financial and lifestyle solution designed to empower females across Sri Lanka, DFCC Aloka has taken a significant step in addressing the unique challenges women face in their caregiving roles, whether for elders or children. Thus, through the partnership with Doc990, DFCC Aloka now offers a range of digital health solutions that can be accessed conveniently from the comfort of home, 24/7.
Accordingly, DFCC Aloka accountholders, along with up to three family members, can now enjoy seamless access to video consultations with qualified Doctors, order and get the medicine delivered to their doorstep, mobile lab facility and many other healthcare offers, including hospital channelling and booking fee discounts. This integration of healthcare and home-based solutions ensures that DFCC Aloka accountholders receive the care they need when needed. Recognizing the diverse roles that women play, DFCC Aloka accountholders can now benefit from a supportive community and access a wide range of privileges and benefits tailored to their needs.
The Aloka Medical Camp held at DFCC Bank’s Anuradhapura branch demonstrated the Bank’s commitment to women’s health and well-being. Over 100 Aloka accountholders and women from the local community attended the event, where they received complimentary health screenings conducted by Kanola Hospital, a renowned private healthcare facility in Anuradhapura. These screenings included comprehensive health assessments, vision tests, and complimentary consultations with medical professionals.
Shera Hassen, Vice President of Branch Banking Planning, and Implementation, said, “This is a huge milestone for DFCC Aloka, and we take this opportunity to thank DOC 990 Doc990 for being our partner whilst also acknowledging the invaluable contribution of the Kanola Hospital to our Aloka Medical Camp. At DFCC, we believe in empowering women to realize their dreams and goals, and a key requirement to do that is good health and wellbeing, which is why we have commenced this initiative, which will be an ongoing programme.”
