Considered the pinnacle of recognition for marketing excellence in the country, the SLIM Brand Excellence Awards – organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) – spotlights creativity, innovation, and impact. The awards follow a rigorous evaluation process conducted by an independent panel of judges comprising leading industry experts, focusing on several factors including brand strategy, creativity, effectiveness, and overall market impact. Accordingly, Fonterra clinched two Gold Awards for Turnaround Brand of the Year, recognising the remarkable resurgence of Anlene and Anchor Newdale in overcoming challenges and delivering outstanding results.
In addition to these stellar wins, Fonterra earned two Bronze Awards. These were received by Anchor Newdale, which was recognised as Innovative Brand of the Year for its groundbreaking advancements in product development, packaging, and communications, and Ratthi 3-in-1, which was recognised as the Best New Entrant of the Year for its successful introduction to the market.
The company also took home a Merit Award for Anlene in the Global Brand of the Year category, which honours globally originated brands that achieve exceptional success in local markets.
