In an inspiring blend of entrepreneurship and philanthropy, Jeet Adani, Gautam Adani’s youngest son and also Director of Adani Airport Holdings, launched two significant initiatives supporting people with disabilities, just days before his wedding.

The young business leader, who oversees India’s largest airport infrastructure company, partnered Shark Tank India for ‘Gateway to Shark Tank — Divyang Special,’ offering mentorship and support to entrepreneurs with disabilities and those developing solutions for the differently abled community.

Shark Tank India is a reality TV show, series based on the popular American version, where entrepreneurs pitch business ideas to a panel of investors (‘sharks’) for funding and mentorship. The show has gained widespread popularity in India for its mix of entertainment and entrepreneurship.

Previously Adani had emphasized the need for passionate innovators to create solutions for problems faced by people with disabilities. The Director of Adani Airport Holdings has also expressed his commitment to partnering and supporting entrepreneurs to help bring about meaningful change in the sector.

Complementing this entrepreneurial initiative, Adani also announced ‘Mangal Seva,’ (pious service) a program providing financial assistance of INR 1 million each to 500 newly married women with disabilities annually. Launching the program, Adani met 21 newly married couples at his home, symbolising a personal commitment to the cause.

The dual approach of supporting both innovation and direct assistance reflects the broader vision of the Adani Foundation, which evolved from a small rural project in Mundra, Gujarat, into a global force for change under the leadership of his mother, Dr. Priti Adani. The Foundation has been instrumental in improving lives through education, skill development programs, and livelihood opportunities.

Gautam Adani, expressing his joy on X, shared that his son and daughter-in-law are beginning their journey together with this virtuous resolution. “Through this sacred initiative (Mangal Seva), the lives of many disabled daughters and their families will be uplifted creating happiness and dignity,” he stated.

Jeet Adani’s focus on supporting people with disabilities has already shown results through various collaborations, including the distribution of technical kits to differently abled students across Industrial Training Institutes and the establishment of Mitti Cafes at Mumbai and Lucknow airports, which provides employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Jeet and his fiancée Diva Shah personally met with Mitti Café employees at Ahmedabad Airport and invited them to his wedding.

Gautam Adani has asserted that Jeet’s wedding will be a “simple and traditional” ceremony, and not a star-studded spectacle. The clarification put to rest rumours that claimed that a host of global celebrities like Taylor Swift were to attend Jeet and Diva’s wedding.  Jeet is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He is also a trained pilot.
