Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd, one of Sri Lanka’s premier insurers and a member of the global Allianz SE Group, has recently entered into an Agreement with Dedigama Group (Private) Limited – a conglomerate that carries on multiple businesses including, amongst others, financial services, jewellery, and gem trade and exports, through its more than 270 pawning outlets distributed throughout island wide. Under this referral partnership, Dedigama Group may from time to time, introduce Allianz to the customers that the Dedigama Group believes may be interested in the product or may be potential customers or clients of Allianz, with consent of the relevant customer, refer such persons to Allianz through their extensive network. This synergy will mutually benefit both Allianz Insurance Lanka and Dedigama Group as they aim to appeal to a wider customer base. In particular, it will provide Sri Lankans with more convenient access to selected Insurance products offered by Allianz Insurance Lanka under this arrangement.
The Agreement was signed between Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd and Dedigama Group Private Ltd. Present at the event representing Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd were Mr. Ranga Dias, the Chief Distribution Officer, and Mr. Rishan Jumat, the Assistant General Manager. On behalf of Dedigama Group, Mr. Rashmi Dedigama, the Director, and Mr. P.K. Ariyarathne, the General Manager, were present. The signing also took place in the presence of Mr. Sasri Dedigama, the Director, and Mr. Nimal Ranasinghe, the Chief Financial Controller at Dedigama Group. Together, they played an instrumental role in supporting the establishment of this partnership.
