As part of a series of initiatives commemorating DFCC Bank’s 70th anniversary, multi-religious observances were held across the country, beginning with a central ceremony at the Head Office in Colombo. Religious leaders representing the Buddhist, Hindu, Christian, and Muslim faiths offered blessings in the presence of the Bank’s Chairman, Board of Directors, senior leadership, and staff. Simultaneous observances took place at Ruwanweli mahasaya in Anuradhapura, Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil in Jaffna, and St. Sebastian’s Church in Negombo. Staff across the Bank’s 138-branch network also joined the Head Office observance via Branch TV, reflecting a deep sense of unity, purpose, and gratitude.
