Nawaloka Hospitals PLC Joins Hand with Daiki Lanka(Pvt) Ltd for Provide Skilled Caregivers to Japan.

Making another siginificant milestone in its path towards developing the Vocational Training in Healthcare industry in Sri Lanka and setting the high professional standards for skilled caregivers, Nawaloka Hospitals – Colombo signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Daiki Lanka (Pvt) Ltd on 21 December 2023.

 Internationally, there is a big demand for skilled Caregivers. Due to the increasing of elderly population globally, the skilled Caregivers are having better prospects. The Japanese Government has taken the initial step to look after their elderly population. Daiki Group has Elder Care Homes & Nursing Facilities to provide the required services in Japan.      By 2050, an estimated one-third of the population in Japan is expected to be 65 and older. As per the present population, they are in need of 2 – 2.5 million Caregivers. The signed MOU aims to fill the required professional skill caregivers to work in Japan.   

 A signing ceremony was conducted at Nawaloka Hospital – Colombo Premises, in the presence of Director / General Manager, Vidya Jyothi, Prof : Lal Chandrasena along with Mr  Yosuke Nakamura, Managing Director Daiki Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.  Representing the Nawaloka Hospitals – Colombo Mr Tuan Jamalon , Head of Institute and           Mr Sudanthe Senevirathne , Manager – Training participated in the ceremony. 

Addressing the ceremony, Prof: Lal Chandrasena emphasized the importance of National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) and clinical experience at Nawaloka Hospital and work as skilled caregiver in Japan. In addition, he mentioned the importance of collaboration with Daiki Lanka is a very good platform to learn the Japanese Language, the culture and to obtain the employment visa in Japan for graduates. 0117173475 for further information.
