Pagero Sri Lanka recently visited Ekiriyagala Junior School in Kegalle as part of their ongoing efforts to support education and foster a love for learning among students who demonstrate resilience and commitment. The initiative focused on empowering young minds by providing encouragement and resources to help students thrive despite limited resources.
Education is central to Pagero’s vision of fostering innovation and community. By supporting local initiatives, Pagero aims to contribute to the development of future innovators and problem-solvers, helping to open doors to opportunities in technology and other fields.
On the visit to Ekiriyagala Junior School in Kegalle, Pagero brought essential supplies to 183 students from Grades 1 to 11, along with lab equipment to enhance the school’s IT resources. This contribution was designed to ease financial pressures on families and help students start the academic year better equipped for success.
The school organised a vibrant event to welcome the Pagero team, featuring traditional dances and songs performed by the students.
Director of Research and Development at Pagero Sri Lanka, Sajith Silva, addressed the gathering, emphasising education’s transformative potential “With the right resources and encouragement, young minds can achieve remarkable feats. We’re proud to be a part of their journey and look forward to expanding these efforts across Sri Lanka,”. He added “The visit to Ekiriyagala Junior School reflects Pagero’s belief in the importance of education as a foundation for progress. Through targeted efforts, we as a company seek to promote equality in education and inspire young learners to reach their full potential in an increasingly digital world.”
