Global Dialogue Forum Brings World Leaders and Experts to Colombo for Unique Ai-Powered Green Energy, Food Security & Cybersecurity Conclave

Global Dialogue Forum (GDF) partnering Club of Rome’s India affiliate, is hosting a unique international conclave at the Galle Face Hotel, Colombo, bringing together leading global experts, policy framers, decision makers to explore the frontiers Artificial Intelligence (Ai) can breach to overcome challenges in green energy, food security and cyber security. It differs from the usual technology conferences, in its firm focus on the practical and sustainable applications of Ai.

Hon. Deputy Minister of Digital Economy, Eranga Weeraratne, will be the chief guest, sharing national a vision to promote Ai in development. The Guest of Honour will be Indonesia’s Air First Marshal Dr. Ir. Arwin Sumari, Special Staff to the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Air Force and Head of Indonesia’s Cognitive Artificial Intelligence Research Group.

The conclave will examine Ai’s game changing role in the transitioning from fossil to green energy in all its forms in enhancing agricultural productivity and water management to rid the world of hunger; underscored by cyber security protecting the network systems. A glittering array of experts from different countries ranging from government to corporate to institutions will be participating and accessible for interaction 

Participants include corporate giants in Ai, Cyber Security, Green Energy and Agriculture. Senior representatives from India, Indonesia, EU and ASEAN will also be participating. The conclave will be streamed live worldwide, allowing for global participation and knowledge-sharing.

GDF, among think tanks of the Global South has been a nurturer of ideas with international significance. It has been unique in regularly organising major conferences overseas, from China to the UK. In London, in 2019, its conference on dispute resolution was in partnership with UK’s premier think tank, Chatham House. In China, GDF was given rare permission to conduct a conference in 2016 with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. In Malaysia, GDF partnered with CesdAsia for a conference.
