Crescat Boulevard relaunches after an extensive refurbishment

“As one of the pioneering shopping malls in the city, Crescat Boulevard holds fond memories for its loyal customers over the past 24 years. With its refurbishment, Crescat returns to offer a revitalised, upmarket shopping and dining experience for Colombo’s shoppers whilst still maintaining nostalgic familiarities. The refurbishment was completed despite challenging conditions within the pandemic, and we are now ready to take on the season. We are grateful for the trust our tenants have placed in us – some have been a part of Crescat Boulevard for the past 20 years and are a part of this new journey. Crescat Boulevard has been a familiar fixture among Colombo’s shopping destinations and we are excited to embark on this new chapter amidst a changing city,” commented Nayana Mawilmada, Sector Head of John Keells Properties and Executive Vice President – JKH.

Crescat’s new look, feel and ambience positions the mall comfortably within Colombo’s leading commercial centres and its evolving landscape. Its uniqueness lies in its convenience, variety of choice and intimate and warm shopping experience in comparison to conventional malls. To date, Crescat also has the most easily accessible supermarket out of the other malls in Colombo, convenient parking and well-equipped amenities and grocery options.

“Crescat’s layout is carefully designed so that shoppers can easily avail a host of options with little hassle. Whether it is stationary, cosmetics, footwear, tourist souvenirs, a haircut, grocery shopping or even to get a car wash or a meal or quick snack – Crescat Boulevard offers a vibrant one-stop shopping and dining experience for everyone through a carefully curated selection of establishments and options,” said Theekshana Jayarathna – Assistant Vice President and Head of Asset Management – John Keells Properties.
