Sampath Bank is proud to renew its Annual Platinum Corporate Partnership with the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID) for 2024–2025. This collaboration highlights a shared commitment to advancing Corporate Governance across Sri Lanka, empowering organisations in their pursuit of ethical and transparent practices in both the private and public sectors.

SLID’s flagship Board Leadership Training program is currently on its 20th intake with over 500 business leaders gaining key insights into boardroom practices, strategy, risk and governance. SLID also facilitates more than eight forums, including the Audit Committee Forum, Independent Directors Forum, Women Directors Forum and the Young Directors Forum which provides crucial insights to its members, enabling them to excel in their roles. These training initiatives and forums foster peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, dissemination of relevant information, and a focus on best practices in key areas of governance.
