Standard Chartered recognises outstanding achievements of staff at ‘Hall of Fame: Celebrating Excellence’

Standard Chartered Sri Lanka hosted its prestigious annual awards ceremony, themed ‘Hall of Fame: Celebrating Excellence,’ at the Shangri-La Hotel Colombo on March 22, 2025. The event recognised and celebrated the exceptional performance of its employees in 2024, with a total of 119 individual awards and 5 team awards presented across 46 distinct categories. The night saw the felicitation of 13 employees for their long service at the Bank whilst also recognising the recipients of various SC Group awards as well as external awards throughout 2024.

Standard Chartered Hall of Fame award winners 

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the most coveted accolade, the ‘CEO Leadership Award,’ which was awarded to Lasitha Wijeratne, Value Centre General Manager Affluent & Head Wealth Management, for his exemplary leadership and contributions in 2024.
