Sri Lanka’s pioneering state-owned Financial Institution, People’s Leasing & Finance PLC (PLC), celebrated its 25th anniversary on 31st May, 2021.

Hon. State Minister of Money & Capital Market and State Enterprise Ajith Nivard Cabral relaunching PLC corporate Trilingual Website. Ensuring ease of transactions to customers, People’s Leasing has re-launched their trilingual corporate website virtually with the presence of Hon. State Minister of Money & Capital Market and State Enterprise Ajith Nivard Cabral at the Ministry of Finance.

Mr Sujeewa Rajapakse, Chairman and Mr. Shamindra Marcelline Chief Executive Officer /General Manager of People’s Leasing & Finance PLC participated at this memorable occasion.

Speaking at the virtual launch the Hon. State Minister stressed that PLC is always taking initiatives to do things differently. “It’s an example for other institutions to think outside the box during this ‘new normal’ situation by making better use of the technological channels available  in the digital world, State Minister added.

As People’s Leasing embarks on a ambitious digital transformation programme,  the new and improved People’s Leasing website will further accentuate the customer centricity as a ‘one stop portal’ for one’s financial needs.
