The Rizta comes with a top speed of 80 km/h and can go from 0–40 km/h acceleration in just 4.7 seconds. It is equipped with a 2.7 kWh lithium-ion battery, offering a certified IDC range of 123 km, on both variants, under ideal conditions. Staying true to Ather’s technology-first DNA, the Rizta Z features a 7-inch TFT touchscreen dashboard with Google Maps for on-screen navigation and Bluetooth connectivity for calls and alerts. Riders also get intelligent tools like AutoHold, which keeps the scooter steady on slopes, Reverse Mode for easy manoeuvring in tight spaces, SkidControl for improved grip on wet or uneven surfaces, and Monoshock suspension for a smoother ride. These technologies, first introduced in India, have been refined to give Sri Lankan riders everyday convenience, enhanced safety, and effortless control in dense city traffic.

Beyond performance and features, Ather’s focus on safety and long-term reliability sits at the core of the Rizta. Its in-house engineered batteries are built to withstand real-world conditions and undergo 272 rigorous tests, including impact, vibration, and extreme temperature assessments. The pack is IPX7 waterproof and AIS-156 certified, reflecting industry-leading safety standards. Ather also follows its proprietary Ather Product Development System (APDS), which mandates eight stages of quality reviews before any product is cleared for launch. The company had 4,535 unique tests to validate all components of its scooters, as of December 31, 2024, underscoring its commitment to durability and engineering excellence.

Ather also offers a 5-year / 60,000 km (whichever is earlier) battery warranty for all scooters, with an option to further enhance up to 8years /80,000 kms (whichever is earlier), as an additional purchase. The assurance also guarantees a minimum of 70% battery health at the end of the period. This long-term assurance builds customer confidence and strengthens Ather’s commitment to delivering dependable, long-lasting products. Moreover, the company’s approach to electric mobility focuses on long-term value and lower ownership costs. Electric vehicles offer lower running and maintenance expenses compared to petrol scooters, making them more economical over time. Entering Sri Lanka in December 2024 with the Ather 450X, Ather has since established 40 Experience Centres and 5 Ather Grid fast charging stations, building a strong foundation of trust and support in the country. With the Ather Rizta, the company aims to take this relationship further, offering Sri Lankan riders a smarter, reliable, and future-ready electric scooter backed by proven technology and industry-leading innovation.
