HUTCH marked 10th year of its pioneering ‘Digital Dansala’ initiative this Vesak

Celebrating the virtues and spirit of Vesak, HUTCH Sri Lanka continued its tradition of hosting a Digital Vesak Dansala for the 10th consecutive year. As one of Sri Lanka’s premier telecommunications networks, HUTCH Sri Lanka was the first telco in Sri Lanka to launch the concept of a “Digital Vesak Dansala” 10 years ago. Since then, this initiative has served to delight Sri Lankans of all ages and all walks of life during the noble Vesak festival with free digital services like data, calls and SMS messages.

Accordingly, this year too, HUTCH customers enjoyed the HUTCH Digital Vesak Dansala and got one hour of unlimited data, unlimited calls to any network, and unlimited HUTCH to HUTCH SMS messages. These Digital Vesak Dansala offers were available exclusively for HUTCH Customers on the 23rd and 24th of May 2024, by simply dialling *322# or activating via the HUTCH Self Care App. Each of these services were enjoyed by customers for one full hour without any data caps or other limits.
